Podcasts & Talks
When I was younger, I thought my job was primarily to do research and communicate it to students and other scientists. More recently, I’ve more fully recognized the importance of communicating science more broadly. I enjoy communicating to many kinds of audiences, including giving talks and appearing on podcasts. In Podcasts below, I talk about talking and its role our lives well beyond communication. In Talks below, one highlight is my collaboration with Mark Seidenberg on a talk about children’s reading at Planet Word Museum, including a Q&A moderated by Emily Hanford, Planet Word’s Journalist in Residence.
